I have been researching universities with a degree in architecture, and some appear to offer a degree in “architetural drafting”. Is it the same to Architecture, or what would be the difference?
One Response on is there a difference between an architecture program and an architectural drafting program?
If you want to be an architect, you need a bachelor’s of architecture from an accredited university, which means you not only come out of school knowing how to draft, but more importantly, you will learn the basics of designing buildings.
If however, you want to be a slave to people with architecture degrees in an architect’s office, then take only architectural drafting, you’ll become a drafting machine, with no creativity and no hope of ever becoming an architect.
