I have been accepted into their school of architecture, but it would not be my first choice to go there anymore. How can I change my area of study? Architecture is a school in and of itself, so I am confused.
One Response on I applied to Texas Tech wanting to go into architecture, but I have changed my mind?
Your best bet is to find an academic advisor in your school. He or she will definitely be able to help you.
But I’d say that since you’re a student of Texas Tech, you should be able to change schools within the university. Changing your mind about what to study happens to nearly EVERY college kid… I myself went through three majors before one stuck… so it’s not going to be super hard to change. You might have to apply to a school to get in, but you might not have to.
Definitely talk to an advisor! They’re there to figure this stuff out with you.
