How much of a math wiz do you have to be to become an architect?

With arichitecture, no matter how creative and wonderful your designs may be, you need all of the supporting math to back up those other talents.
The building may look great, but if it falls down. it’s no use to anyone.
But I can see your frustration. It seems that in many types of work where certain skills are needed to be successful, many math courses are needed just to get started. In the case of psychology, many statistics courses are required.The 2 don’t even appear related.
My advice would be to call a local architect and tell them you are a student selecting an occupation and if it would be okay to ask them a few questions because you are interested in architecture. Ask them if they know of any particular part of the field that’s not heavy into math.
