  Boston Architectural College/Boston Architectural Center (I’ve seen it written as both)
  MIT
  Worcester Polytechnic Institute

  Good choices for architecture school (grad school) in the Boston metro area:
  Harvard (Cambridge, MA)
  Northeastern University (Amherst, MA)

  The best schools for architecture (grad school) in the nation, according to US News and World Report:
  1. Rice University: Houston, Texas

  2. University of California, Berkeley: Berkeley, CA

  3. Boston Architectural Center: Boston, MA

  It all depends what type of study you want to get into. From my understanding each school have a different focus in their graduate degree. Currently in Boston the best architecture schools that you can get a M.Arch degree is MIT and Harvard graduate school of design. I believe that Harvard gets more in to the design and research aspect of architecture where as MIT focus more on the design and technology in architecture. Both school in Boston are respected in the architectural field (but also the most expensive). One thing I should caution you is that if you have no architectural background at all be prepared to study for another 3-4 years in a graduate program before you can earn an M.Arch degree (you’ll need either and M.arch degree or a B.arch degree in order to take the licensing exam). The architectural field is a very competitive. If you even have the slightest doubt in your mind about being an architect you would be just throwing your money away. If your not in a hurry to select a school, Wentworth Institute of Technology will be starting an accredited M.Arch program to replace their 5 year B.Arch degree it might not happen until after 2009. They also have a great undergrad architecture program.
