Hi
Buildings appear in several paintings of the great American
painter Edward Hopper.
Here are some examples:
Canaletto, Guardi, Thomas Jones, Monet, Van Gogh - all painted buildings and all have massive entries if you google. Also, for more fanciful stuff - Piranesi. Masaccio for early perspective.
The most famous painter who used building a lot as themes in his paintings is the more modern American named Edward Hopper. And his works are very simplistic, with clean, uncluttered lines. His most famous painting is ‘Nighthawks At The Dinner.’
