  My opinion is that you will do much better to find a school that does offer an Architecture major; however you could take your liberal arts first at a community college as long as your chosen school will accept as transfer credits the classes you take at the cc. Find a school and see a counselor to see if this idea makes any sense. Also, if you change your mind about the major, you can go somewhere else after the liberal arts. This saves money and time imho.

  See if it’s possible to switch your major to architectural engineering, structural engineering or civil engineering in your current college. Since these programs are pretty math-heavy you should do fine.
  Once graduated with a degree in any of those, you will have a strong background in architecture-related engineering, and it should allow you to enroll for a master’s degree in architecture somewhere else.

  Since my high school was accredited, my 4 years of architecture/engineering credits transfered to a community college. i took the courses required for my associates in architecture and i plan to transfer somewhat next year to uni carrying all my mandatory classes like math, english, science, as well as my architect credits to get my master’s.

  if your college doesn’t have architecture, then you should 1st take all the mandatory classes like math and english, then transfer to an accredited uni. they will accept your mandatory credits since every college/uni requires math, english, govt, history, science, etc. to be taken. however, the electives may be different with each uni, so be sure to check if the uni you wish to transfer to will accept the elective credits.

  once you transfer, all your basics will be out of the way and you’ll just focus on architect studies.

  The main requirement for architecture is a sound knowledge of math. You will need to transfer and it will be worth it in the long run as you will be doing what you want to do. Good luck.

  Most states now require NCARB certification now to become a licensed architect.. That means that you must have a degree from an accredited school and participate in the Inter Developement Program (IDP)..

  I would browse the NCARB website to look for your state requirements. If the requirements are not very stringent ie. you only need 4 years or experience counts towards education, then I would contact your state board directly and ask them how long the requirements will stay that way..

  Definatly go back to school (thats my major & i love architecture).

  Check your state’s government website and see what is needed to obtain a license in Architecture (usually a bachelors/masters from an acredited school, take several exams, 5years exp, no criminal background,pay fees, maybe additional requirements but thats basic)!
