I am considering becoming an Architect after high school. I was wondering what skills you need to have to become one. What would a typical work day be for an Architect be? What specific math courses do Architects need to take college? How much drawing skill vs. mathematical skill is involved in everyday work. Does this job take loads of creativity? or do you learn things in college that will help you with building techniques? I’m basically looking for all the information of becoming an Architect.

Ok, I live in Singapore but I am originally from Australia. Both places, architects need to have a 4 year bachelor degree. It’s not such an easy course to get into either over here. I think most students go to university with the same amount of background knowledge. You learn as you go. After university you will find that you know tonnes more than before. Even if you party through university, you’d be amazed at the amount of stuff you learn there.
