Anyways, try thinking of different kinds of materials that you could use for the cover, maybe foamboard, harboard, wood. Go to an art store for material ideas, try Dick Blick or Pearl. For the rest of your portfolio, look for different kinds of papers, maybe a handmade paper, or maybe just a canson paper, it all depends on your personality.
