wolfrage79 asked: I have had a few years of design and drafting school/college but never completed my degree. I have a talent for design and would like to pursue a career in the field. I am just curious if I must obtain a degree in architecture first, or is an apprenticeship with an architecture firm an option?

It is an option in California, Arizona and maybe Wisconsin. You will need to have 8 years of work experience under a licensed architect. I know of several people who is doing very well in the profession who never had an architectural degree.
