Where can I find narrow cardboard strips for an architecture model?

You may have to buy a paper cutter.

what u need is cardboard tack stripping. Find someplace that sells furniture re-uphostering supplies (hardware store? Fabric store? I don’t know). I think it’s exactly what u described, on a big roll.
